Japanese Nukadoko Pickling Demonstration

At the first San Diego Fermentation Festival

The festival is this Sunday, February 1st from 10 - 3 pm. Tickets are $25

Our demonstration is free with paid admission and will be at 2:30

We'll be demonstrating how to start, use and maintain a nukadoko
 (lacto-fermented rice bran) pickling bed. We'll discuss this ancient preservation method,
answer questions and have samples for the audience.
