Hot Sauce Workshops

Join us at The Art Lab at 1450 Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica, December 11th or the 19th from 12 to 3
This class is $45

In this workshop Chef Rachael will start with a quick overview of peppers, then move on to making hot sauce. You’ll learn how to make your own custom batch of sauce, how to determine heat levels, and how to make a shelf-stable sauce with minimal processing required.

We’ll also talk about how to consider the flavor profiles of your peppers when putting together your sauce.

Please bring: a chef’s knife and apron. The workshop includes lecture, hands-on workshop, a hot-sauce tasting, and a starter jar of sauce to take home.
