On Nov. 14th at 11:30am, Chicks with Knives will be joined by LA’s favorite sustainable butchers; Amelia Posada & Erika Nakamura -aka-  Lindy and Grundy,  for a butchery class and demonstration at Surfas in Culver City.

Come meet these incredible women and watch as they demonstrate how to break down a lamb.

After the Lindy and Grundy demonstration, the Chicks will lead a hands-on class.  We will discuss proper knife sharpening, maintenance and care. Everyone will learn to cut up a whole, round fish and a chicken. You will bring home some lamb, a fish and an organic chicken.

Class will include light appetizers and beverages.

We ask everyone to please bring an apron and a sharp boning or chef’s knife.

In addition, all students will also receive a Surfas discount coupon for shopping on the day of the class.
